Position Responsibilities

  • Creating and building relationships with new and existing brokerage transportation providers through the use of our vast database of carriers.
  • Solicit new business to expand our customer portfolio and provide additional service solutions to current clients.
  • Maintain and work to exceed current high service level standards for our customer base.
  • Communicate daily with our key carriers, noting future utilization of their equipment capacity.
  • Collaborate with team members on implementing service solutions for our valued customers and carriers.
  • Verify daily that all customer & capacity information in the operating system has been updated to company requirements.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training, developing our mechanical work force and assist in managing in the shop floor
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on truck chassis and diesel engines. Which includes:
    • Repair transmissions, driveline and differentials
    • Repair steering, suspensions, brake systems, frames, axles, electrical, hydraulic and a/c repairs, cooling systems, wheel end,
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using established procedures

 Position Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years of mechanical experience
  • Knowledge of compliance with OSHA, DOT, and CSA regulations

  • Process payments for prepaid fuel card customers
  • Answer inbound calls to provide customer service and account management
  • Initiate calls to trucking companies to review U-Knighted program details and encourage use (20% of time making outbound calls)
